Default car start after 8 months?

ok so im finally gona be startin my car soon after 8 months.

my block has been in my car with no heads or anything sittin under a covered carport for 8 months

every once and a while i would go out and take the tape off and WD40 EVERYTHING and turn the engine over a few times then retape and cover with a towle and blanket on top of that.

so my question is is there anything else i should do before i put my heads on a start putting this thing back together?

and after that what should i do to start it? do i just hook everythink up and turn key or what?

any help is great! thanks guys!

you could put the heads back on and slide a teaspoon or so of motor oil down the spark plug holes.

It wouldn't hurt to pull the fuel pump fuse and turn it over til the oil gets to the top end...
