Question VIN Location

I just moved to another state and I'm trying to register my car. They need to see two VIN numbers. Of course I have the one on the dash. The driver's door one is gone, I think the door was replaced or repainted by the previous owner. Is there anywhere else there is a FULL VIN number on the car?

I tried showing them the one under the right a pillar weatherstripping but that only has the last digits of the VIN which is the chassis number which should be all they need. But they want the full VIN.

Any help would be great

Also found the one under the rear bumper cover, but that's only a partial number too. And nothing in the glove box.

Tell them that the front Drivers corner of the windshield is all they are going to see..that's pretty much it.

Yeah that looks like what's it's leading up to. They referred me to the state police for a vin inspection. They have to run it through to make sure it's never been reported stolen. I'm just a little worried if he lifts it up for some reason and sees no cats and LTs. I'm sure I'll be fine but if he wants to be a dick he probably can. Oh and the first available appointment isn't til May 6th. Gotta love the state government.
