Default Woohoo!! It runs!!

Well, I got the car all back togather. It went under the knife awhile back (01/24/10) and I worked on it in my spare time (HAHAHA!!! thats funny cause I got NO job!)
Lets see, the car got a new cam, springs, pushrods, timing chain, oil pump, headers, and torque converter.
The stared up the first time yeasterday (03/17/10) at around 6:30pm. I had fogtten how LOUD open headers were, the ground was shaking and it felt like thunder.
It popped right off and oil pressure jumped up to 40psi and it ran at idle all the way to full temp with out a problem.

Pushed the car out of the garage and started topping off all the fluids.

Started right up with great oil pressure, WOOHOO!

Open headers are LOUD!

Now it's time to clean out the gargae.

Nice.

How's it running with the stock tuning? Cam must be pretty mild if it's holding a solid idle at stock rpms.....

it held idle while the motor warmed up, once it was warm i popped the throttle a couple of time and it would never idle after that.

the cam is 226/230 .598/.600 112+4 LSA

as soon as I figure out what to do with the exhaust.
I was thinking of either going with the Edelbrock Y-Pipe and run the Flowmaster cat-back that on the car now OR to go true duals
Once i get the exhaust done I will go and get it tunned.

True duals are always the best answer.
