Ebay is running a deal where you can list three cars for free if you are a power seller. Guy has nothing to lose since it was probably a free listing. I am a plus 800, just not sure how low the deal is to on the ebay scale.

It looks like that is just the "buy it now" price, meaning that people can bid whatever they want just that if you want the car right now thats the price. Ive seen alot of people on Ebay put crazy buy it now prices b/c you never know if someone is dumb enough to pay it. I highly doubt that he is expecting to get 50 G's for that car

It could be just a typo. It happens at the DMV, service dept., etc.. BUT I find the ad written very poorly, as if there is indeed an odometer problem. It just isn't written as if a true original 5,000 miles car. When 'one owner' cars show up with basically no mileage on them the ads are just glowing and usually the ads are very descriptive talking about heated garages, car covers, weekend toy 'use', owner had health issues, etc... This one lacks everything and it sends up 'red flags' other than the obvious background check. Then on top of that $50,000 doesn't even make sense. 2002 T/A C/E examples come up every so often with less miles and even they have trouble selling in the $30,000+ price range. The cars are just not old enough yet to command that kind of money.
** Note for potential ebay sellers. I have listed 4 cars in the past year (for my collector neighbor and myself) and they were FREE listings. Ebay takes money if the car sells. I am not a power seller, just a regular ebay user.

No one is going to buy that (I hope). I just saw a 00 Camaro Z28 with 10k on craigslist for $13,000. And I have seen a 2,500 mile 02 WS6 for $32k on craigslist as well. Both local. This guy is nuts.
