Hey fellas. Here's the deal
1st off, chick was cute, but her boyfriend came to the rescue. I tried though....she wasnt intrested in me....she was pretty badly shaken up.
Her car, was completely obliterated. You cant see the other side of her car because it isnt there....it hit the mack truck bumper in the background. (notice 3rd pic)
The i believe ws9 hood is toast. The bolts/struts stayed on but the hood flaked off of it thus splitting the hood in two. Maybe some fiberglass work could fix it? other then that the hood was good.
Ya, damage isnt horrible, but the radiator support was crumpled so there is frame damage, and what everyone else said about the airbags/windshield.
If I can, Id like to keep the car and part it out, exp considering the $1000 sound system, $2500 moser 9"/trutrack/3.73s and the unhurt wheels etc etc. That all depends on what the insurance will pay me for it.

that can be fixed...easily IMO
i took this....
here you can clearly see the amount of frame damage....luckally the airbags didnt go off somehow, so i saved myself the airbags and windsheild, which all came with my parts car...in the next picture.
heres the parts car...
and here is everything we used off that car...
and turned it back into this...

im not a body man by any means, with these cars, since the majority of the front end is plastic, its just a matter of taking broken **** off and replacing it. i took the peices of the unibody i needed off the parts car to the frame shop and the guy there cut and welded everything for me, as well as straighten it. then when i got it back, all i had to do was hang parts.

If you let the insurance handle it the airbag work get's pricey and they wont let you put in used stuff. Now if the OP had the tools a little bit of know how then yes that car is fixable just like you fixed yours. But to let the insurance handle it it's going to be a percentage as I said earlier. If you had connections with a glass guy you could save a lot of money there too.
If it were mine I'd fix it, but I'm a body man

WOW bww thats some good work! I do agree with yall that it COULD be fixed. However, the insurance adjuster just called me and said it's a total loss. I planned on keeping the car if he offered me anything under 5k....but he offered me 11.5k....That's more than I payed for the car 3 years and 30,000 miles ago. Sorry, but that's a good chunk of cash. Out with the old, in with the new!
