There's not a lot of 4th gens around here but we usually chuck the deuce, finger point, or rev and it's usually responded with the same. Running into a mustang with exhaust has a 90% chance of a friendly nod and a race. On the way to the track the other night with 5 of my friends behind me, i saw a '10 Camaro and revved at him so he followed us to the track in the middle of BFE which was pretty cool.

I thumbs up anything cool i see, doesn't really bother me if they don't wave back. Im not doing it for a responce...I do it cuz i like what i see.
Now, when im on the bike and i see another bike ...my favorite way to say hello is to do a wheelie for em. Most cases i get one in return, but not always...usually a thumbs up, or they shake their head...it really pisses off the harley boys
I had one fly up on me and try and cut me off once when i had a passenger. He took off and had his bike topped out at 110, so i pulled up next to him and paused for a second gave him the peace sign (hippie style, not gangsta style) and left him in the dust...he got off at the next exit...

Yeah I've pretty much given up on trying to be friendly to other drivers lol. Now I have noticed that a lot of people driving chevy trucks like to wave to me
The Torino on the other hand gets a wave from the majority of people that I go past in it lol.

I seriously tend to keep my eyes on the road, so I probably miss out. At least it's better than crashing.
"I'm the first car in line, fast or slow lane, people usually line up behind me. Guess they figure I'll be the first up to speed."
-haha, I get that all the time too!

I often get pulled up next to and asked about my car. I gave a thumbs up to a nice Mustang GT the other day (t'was a drooler) but with both our windows tinted I couldn't tell if I got a thumbs up back, or maybe even somthing else lol. I try to wave at other fourth gens in general and muscle cars from any era.

i usually get mean mugged by other ta awners around were im at.theyre mostly the collage age(im only 21 btw) stereotypical "hardass". I think that when they see me in thier bone stock ws6 and im sitting there with my pro stars,275/50 et street radials and 25x4 sportsman sr radial fronts, choppy cam, loud *** exhaust and typically numbers on my windows from the track it makes them feel intimidated so they have to puff thier chest out to feel dominant.
i usally get waves and smiles from rednecks in big trucks and stuff.
when it comes to girls, they usally look over with a confused look probly thinking in thier head "OMG why does that car sound like that, and why are his front tires so much smaller than the back ones". When i still had the zr1's and it was just catback/lid girls loved it.Now it just confuses them

Is it common practice when driving your 98-02 LS1 pontaic that owners wave to each other? Passed a pewter WS6 today on the way home from work today. Driver was kind enough to give me a thumbs up...didnt expect it?
Gave him a wave back. How cool is that? Maybe, because Fbodies are non-existent around here.
Wave to your fellow TA/firebird drivers.
I always wave to fellow motorcycle riders around here, but this was way cool and unexpected.
Camaros are all too common around here, so dont expect a wave from me!

The ones who tend to not wave the most to me are:
- female drivers (no offense ladies, but it is true lol). I guess they just don't get it?
- 3rd gen drivers. I don't think I've ever had a 3rd gen driver return a wave to me.
- local WS6 drivers because they are pissed off that their car isn't the only one around lol.

I would say I get most of my attention at stoplights and gas stations, my exhaust is pretty loud so it tends to draw alot of attention and people always ask about my car. Rarely do I get a thumbs up or wave, usually people will break there neck starring at my beautiful black paint

I don't get many waves around here, most young people around here are into this retarded craze about lowering s10s putting wagon wheels on them and driving around with that extremely blazed or suicidal look on their face. Most of the nice cars are old muscle cars driven by old guys who tend to think I'm bein a smart *** and turn their head almost immediately when I wave at them
There is one ta in town just like mine and I can't stand the guy, his car looks almost just like mine did before I started seein him around (had to change some things) and he has a mullet and looks just like your typical 3rd gen camaro owner
