Default VATS (Vehicle anti-theft) disable question ?
I see on some mail order tuning places that offer this. What would be the advantage to having this done as part of your tune ? Thanks!

The most common reason for disabling it is in engine swap applications to older vehicles.

its a pita if something goes wrong with the system. like the wire inside the ignition switch where the wire breaks and you cant start your car.

just do the bypass mode with a resistor.done it on my m6.

yes. royally sucks ***, cus you have NO idea what's going on. costs a **** ton to get fixed too

you should def. do that mod it cost me two days of troubleshooting the car and missed out on a tune from veneance racing due to that stupid ****.
