84 t/a build my son just bought a 84 t/a and wants to do a ls swap. he nows a guy who has a 98 ls1 with 92000 on it and wants 1500 for the complete motor and i was wandering if thats a good price or should he look elsewhere???

If everything is ok and the motor ran good before it was pulled, i would say thats a pretty good price. Ive seen people ask upwards of $2k for LS1s. And LS1/T56 ive seen for $3k. Seems rediculous to me. I would offer him 1000-1200 and see if he takes it first. Nothin wrong with a little haggling
