I would say $12K to $13 if you got the right buyer.

Very true also.

Rust free cars are harder to find up north.

Bought my 98 Z28 A4 from the dealer i work for (woodhouse) in march 09 for $2950 with 71k on the clock. 100% Bone Stock. New tranny put in 6k miles prior (found the receipt in the glovebox after purchasing). Salvage title, but absolutely nothing wrong mechanically or physically. If i didnt work for the dealer i probably would have paid around $5K

Thats a very good thing for the car, just not so great for my wallet I figure my budget is around 9000 or a little over.. That should put me a well under 300 a month for 36 months. I figure a nice car for 9k is do-able.. Now I wish I would have hung on to mine
Would let my 98 TA with 61K miles go for 10500 and I am only about 1 1/2-2 hours from you.

I just a 98K 01 SS for 9500, clean interior exterior, mostly stock, red M6.....

you'll find someone selling modded ones cheaper.

Well probably in cities the m6 isnt as popular, but in general it's always been harder to find the m6's then a4s. And usually always more money.

I paid $7900 for my 1998 Z28 drop top, 6 speed with 93k miles. Its really, really clean though. I thought it was a fair price for a rare car, 6 speed/drop top is like trying to find a hen's tooth. Almost all the convertibles are automatic for some reason.

keep looking local, you'll find one, getting one from someone on the board could cost more, but you may find a nicer car too.

I need to get out from under my 98 formula M6 (getting married).

-85k Stock engine.
-Good oil pressure
-red/tan
-Suncoast WS6 hood
-Tomz black ZR1s 9"/11" back tires almost gone.
-4.11s
-new Z06 clutch/flywheel
-flowmaster exhaust (previous owner).
-alternator flickers
-Slow windows
-Some speakers blown

I'm thinking it's worth $7k here in OH. Maybe I need to re-consider.
