Maybe if you had a LTx I would kinda feel for you...JK With that said, I live my LSX and couldn't think of another car in it's class I would want. Except for maybe a LS3 or LS7

I have owned a total of 4 f bodies. A 99 ws6 auto a 2002 ws6 auto and this one 2000 m6 t/a. Don't get me wrong they are reliable cars , but when things start breaking from old age and trying to get it right again it can be real expensive. Why didn't GM just put better quality parts in these cars to last longer example like a better rear or stronger tranny etc etc?

never had one problem with mine. love it to death the interior doesnt even bother me i didnt buy it for how the interior looks anyway, its fast as hell and f-bodys just look killer. remember if you wanted something in 98-02 with better rear and interior then you would have been buying a corvette, GM took the bad *** ls1 and put it in a car that was affordable compared to the vette it would have been stupid for gm to spend more money on the f-body and then have to try and sell it at the same price as a vette they would have sold barley any

I can live with the 10 bolt but the interior is what really kills it for me, it just feels so cheap. I cannot complain though, I have never had a single thing go wrong on the car but the clutch.

Most reliable cars that I have ever owned... And I never stay at stock power levels so that says something.
I love the layout/design of the interiors. Only thing that "bothers" me is the dash cracking and the door panels cracking on the TAs. Other than that I love the cars 100%. Will never get out of fbodys totally, no reason to. Cheap to mod, cheap to maintain, easy to make quick, easy to mod/work on, tons of parts, cheap parts, reliable, great on gas at stock levels and even at much higher HP levels, etc etc etc etc..

I dont think I am on the edge yet, just bought a new clutch and put it in and now gettin a bad rattle trying to figure out what it is. And just lookin back and man I spent a lot of money on this car for more power and to run right. Then with add hp for a manuel car have to get a rear which with everything will be about $3000.00. I dont know just venting I guess.

We're talking about a car here that was basically designed in the early 90's. Look at ANY car that was designed at that time, not just GM cars, and you'll find that they all have cheap interiors and odd quirks about them.

Not only that, but remember GM was considering cancelling F-bodies altogether before 1998, so we should be lucky that they even made our cars. Yes they skimped on a few things but that's because they weren't selling any, and it wouldn't have made sense for them to spend R&D money on a car they wanted to discontinue anyway.

Thats three F-bodys...
Any if they are so "cheap" why did you keep buying them? Ask yourself that one and then get back to us. Till then

Please enlighten us all and let us know what other car that was built between 98-02 could/can hang with an f-body for the price??? If you really do not like the thing or are that sick of it please do one of two things:

1. Join the ricer kids OR
2. Join the blue oval boys

Either way you can quit your bitchin and get walked by every last one of us when you come across us on the street...take your pick.

If you dont like your car.. Sell it.

Otherwise, nobody gives a ****. Stop complaining. Its not a Corvette or a lambo.. Its a god damn F-Body.

If you beat the **** out of the car and mod it, expect **** to break. Plain and simple..

You can't put Corvette and Lambo in the same sentence, let alone the same class.

I'd take a new Z06 over a lambo any day of the week.. regardless if they were the same price..

So therefore, I will...

So would I, no doubt about it... But it doesn't change the fact that one is an Amercian Muscle car and one is an Exotic.

Even if a Zo6 can beat a Lambo in every situation hands down, it is still a Lambo.
