Default throttle body and MAF upgrade (idleing high)

so i changed out the throttle body and MAF oust of my 02 formula (ls1) and now my engine idle's at 1000 rpm does any one know what could be wrong i used an 85mm trick flow throttle body and 85mm SLP MAF (with screen). Ive adjusted idle cable on throttle bracket and idle screw on throttle body, but it still idle's high

If I was you, I'd put the stock stuff back on. Honestly you won't gain anything and you don't need a high idle problem.

- Vacuum leak
- Poorly adjusted idle set screw
- TB blade not sealing properly
- Hole in TB blade (is there a hole on the Trick Flow unit?) too large
- IAC valve issue (not sealing/poor response to PCM input)

Those would be my most likely guesses.

it doesnt have to be a vacuum line to be a vacuum leak. A vacuum leak is any unmetered air that enters the engine. The leak will cause the motor to lean out a little bit and idle faster.

Put the stock parts back on and end youur problems...you will gain nothing performance wise with the addition the TB and MAF ...

PS you have a vacuum leak
