Default catalytic converter

Hey I my passenger side catalytic converter has a huge dent in it and its setting my check engine light off. I need to replace it and I saw that random technology has some for fbody's. They are 154 bucks on WS6store. Im just wondering if its a direct replacement and if this will shut off my check engine light. Oh and I don't want on ory, im planning on selling the car soon and I want it to remain stock. its a 98 z28. If anybody knows of any better deals for direct replacement let me know as well. thanks.

Thanks for the info, will they bolt right up in place of the old one though? or will I need to take it to a muffler shop to get it put in there?

And can anyone tell me what the stock inlet/outlet size is for a 98 z28? and will any cats from a 93-02 work or are there only certain years? thanks

the set up that i have is a y-pipe with the cats already installed which they are way more pricy than just the cats alone.

If you get the universal cats your going to have to take it to a shop to have the old ones taken out and new ones welded in.

and i believe the stock inlet and out let is 2 1/2 if im not wrong

i really love these high flow cats as they really make your car sound nice. you won't get that raspety sound you usually get with cheaper cats. Great tone IMO.
Also it will pass emissions with no problem :-)
