i would only question it, cause it has the painted or decaled manta scoop, which could suggest paint job, or that it wouldnt make a good collector cause it has been molested already. Not a huge fan of the color but ive seen worse

Hey now, don't hate on the gold. It's actually nice looking in person. Especially with some black wheels and a black Berger to offset the bling-ness.
That said, I think that car is ugly as hell. A vert and those wheels just don't do the car justice.

Its a nice car, but at most its worth 10k. I will never understand why people will pay more because of a "rare" color. Sure the gold and purple were probable the 2 rarest colors but Im sure any car that was custom ordered is somewhat rare if you break down all the options it had. Ive seen a couple ads where the person selling the car says something like " 99 Camaro SS, 1 of only 200 SS's that had cloth seats, with manual windows, and a CD changer very rare car.

This car is about a mile from my house, it has been for sale for a long time. Apparently being rare and ugly isn't always a good thing (not to mention over priced). It does seem to be really clean though.

But I will say that the car in the original post is pretty rare. I think it looks pretty good. I'd rock it.
