Wow i'm very surprised you can get insurance for these cars that cheap. Don't have a fbody yet but i was betting insurance would be high. Is there any catch to this? Do you have to be a certain age? I'm 21 and rent...to my mom. Could i still get that kind of deal?

I have american collector's on my car with $10k agreed value and it costs me $265 a year. This also includes roadside assistance. I do have a 5k mileage restriction but they didn't ask me the starting mileage. I have been doing ~ 4k mi a year and i do only use it as a pleasure car.

There are several restrictions, depending on which carrier you go with. Usually, you have to be 25 or older, have a great record, have another car for daily use, store the car in a garage when not being driven, have mileage restrictions and/or usage restrictions (pleasure only, etc.). Collector policies are not meant for people who intend to use the car in question as regular transportation.

Yeah, the only thing i could see not working is age and i could see not being a homeowner hurting it maybe. It wouldn't be my daily and would most likely see less than 3k miles a year.
