who has specialty insurance on their sports cars?
i currently have American National as my specialty insurer & 4what i dont know because they will only insure my car for a total of $10k. $8k for the car a $2k for my add ons. i have doubble invested into it that whats they will insure it for & im adding more to it every day. so my question is who can provide the coverage a guy needs if this gets totalled? i dont want to loose $12k in aftermarket parts & yes im sure i could buy it back but thats beside the point. i currently pay $307 for 6mo. $53 a mon. & 29yrs old so im past the insurance gouge mark. clean record. WOW thats the 1st lol.

I have Grundy, they offer agreed/stated value so your premium will be based on how much coverage you want. You can check out their website for an on-line quote based on your individual factors.
Only downside: You can't be daily driving the car with this type of policy. You must have other daily transportation, and the car that's covered must be stored indoors when not in use, and only driven for pleasure purposes (no everyday commuting, etc.). There is no specific mileage limit though. These restrictions are the reason why their rates are extremely affordable.

1. No
2. Yes
3. Yes
Then they just ask you to explain any yes answers, "the engine will be changed at some point for more power" is what I put on mine.

Im in the process of signing on with Grundy, just say there was a car show at the bar, they should cover it. You have to sign a waiver stating that it will only be used for car shows, cruises, etc, but cannot be used for drag/road racing, commute to work, normal daily driving, etc. I think there might be some grey areas in there per say, but alot of bars have carshows.

I have grundy's as well. I am pretty sure they will require both enclosed storage and alternate transportation. At first they were saying I did not have adequate alternative transportation and would not cover the amount I wanted. But I called them and they agreed to cover for the stated value since I provided a list of parts on the vehicle. Also they were not sure why it mentioned inadequate daily transportation, bc I have a truck and motorcycle as well.
