Talking Some parts are just more exciting than others

Since I started my 65 Lark LSX project, I have been receiving a steady flow of parts from UPS and Fedex. The funny thing is that some of them get me all excited like a little kid when I unpack them and other are just like....."meh, it's here".

I just received my Edelbrock adapter plates and I had no real reaction at all. But, when I opened the MSD 6010 box, my face lit up with a big smile

The funniest one to me was the disc brake conversion kit. This is the thing that this car needed the most by far and it was just ho-hum. However, when the new Billet Specialties wheels came, I thought I was gonna need a moment alone with them

Is it just me?

I agree

And some are just downright depressing...replacing bad sensors, failed parts, ect

My camshaft came today. We can go ahead and add this one to the "exciting" list.

Do you have a build thread somewhere? The car looks beautiful.

No official build thread. I might put one together after the fact documenting the LSX install when it is done though. Right now I am still rockin' the stock 300" V-8.

Nice exhaust parts always make me giddy, especially headers. I haven't yet had the pleasure of getting some nice CNC'd heads, but I imagine it's bliss!
