Does anyone know if the 2001 6 speed transmission mount is the same as a 93-97? I can't find a 2001 mount at any local parts store so i ordered a poly mount. In the mean time i have a 95 trans mount and am thinking about putting that in.

I'm not sure on the '93-'97 vs. '98-'02 trans mounts, but as stated above, do you have poly or solid motor mounts? You don't want the trans mount to be firmer than the motor mounts - you could crack the bell housing.

I do believe the LT mounts works on the LS.

I do have stock motor mounts, so i guess i should stick with the stock rubber trans mount. The only stock mount i could find is the 93-97, i guess i'll give it a try. Has anyone used a 93-97 mount on an ls1 car?

I swapped the '93-'97 transmission mount onto my 2001 and everything lined right up.

+1 on not using stiffer tranny mounts than engine mounts. that equals disaster
