Default Someone please explain to me what just happened (clutch)

So I went to start my car this morning and when I pushed the clutch down it stuck to the floor. I pulled it back up with my hand and pushed it down and let it back up then took it for a ride and now its fine. ??? So strange I cant figure it out.

Sounds like the piston in the clutch master stuck.

I noticed when my car was a DD when I first got it that during cold weather upon startup, the clutch stuck to the floor. Once the car got up to operating temp though it was fine. I know others have had issues in cold weather as well. I don't know what effect the cold has on the fluid or hydraulics, so I don't know a solution. Let it warm up a little before taking off maybe.

How low was it just make sure it wasn't so low that you introduced air into the line. This will cause the pedal to keep feeling spongy and not working properly. Also, if it was low I would check to see if you can find where its leaking. You don't want to your slave leaking on your clutch disk, flywheel or pressure plate. Not saying it is happening just something to keep in mind.
