ls1 or 408 lq9

Default ls1 or 408 lq9

i have a 99 z which i wanna do a head and cam swap polluter, cam, trickflow heads, yella terra rockers,all the goodies i wanna get about 450 ish on motor and mabey spray 100 idk if the ls1 will handle that? and i can get a 408 forged lq9 for 2500 with dyno sheets of 525hp and 500tq it needs a balancer wasnt sure if mine would fit it has the 24t reluctor, the guy said i may need to splice one wire into my computer any info on what you would do keep the ls1 or do a swap and things that i should know for the swap

if everything is good on the 408 i would go ahead and start there. i just did a cam/stall swap on my car and it cost me $3,000 in parts and another $800 for the labor and tune, then you would have to add another $1500 to $2000 bucks for a good set of heads.

Forged Lq9, it'll take whatever you throw at it. Especially, since it's forged!
