4L70E Shifter and cable?? I am streetrodding a 1960 vette with an LS2 engine mated to a 4L70E transmission.
Will the shift cable designed for a 4L60 or a 4L65E transmission work on this 4L70E?
I am having a tough time finding a floor shifter that says it will work with the 4L70E transmssion. Found a TCI Streetfighter ratchet shifter I like. Two different applications: (4L60/700r4) or a (4L80E). Will one of these work with the 4L70E? I read that the 4L65E is the same transmission as the 4L70E. 70 is suppose to be an upgrade. Will the 4L60 shift cable,etc. work with the 4L70E etc.??? Does anybody know for certain the difference?? I have looked around the internet for an answer with poor results. Left a message with TCI to call me back with an answer.
