Is the car an auto or an M6? if its an auto and you're in drive and let the car roll back in reverse too much it could stall it out.

TurnOne PS pump. I have one in my car. Specifically designed for RR, AutoX, corner carving etc.. I love it. It only circulates the fluid at half speed compared to a normal pump so it doesn't overheat at all. I haven't had any issue with it. I believe with a stock pump you have full steering assist at 800rpm whereas with this one its 1000rpms or so. Not a very noticeable difference at all and my car is a 25k+ mile a year dd. Looks alot better in the engine bay to boot too.

It's cause the ABS/ESM/ESC/DME/ECU or whatever is telling your ignition, "hey buddy, shut-er-down! We done gone into full retard mode and is fittin ta crash."
Put the car in dyno mode and it should be good to go.

Did you end up getting anything fixed or are you driving like normal again?

10 years later I think we can put this one to bed.

If someone is having a similar issue, a think a new thread would be in order at this point.
