Default Skipped the Srt, got a TA. Have an issue, help!

Tech,

I bought a 1999 trans am recently, and it has come with a beautiful set of torque thrust 2 5 spokes i love. Its staggered, 275/45/17 in rear, 245/45/17 in front.

My problem: the fronts were not on the car. They are some different style wheel with rotten tires on them. I wondered why he did not have the matching set on, so I attempted to put the fronts on (which have new tires on them)...

Well I see why they are not on now, they don't fit (caliper rub). The seller included mr. gasket wheel spacers that I tried, which made them fit, but now my studs are not long enough to get a bite from the lugs, it is very close to grabbing thread, but won't.

Would these wheel studs fit my car and fix my issue?

Any drawbacks? Or are they too long/short? Unsafe?

Thanks, if they work I'll buy them from a member here

Pat

Most people grind the caliper.
I've seen people fit 15's on the front.
If they're 17's they can't be hitting by much.

I didn't think they would either but there is no way it's going on without the spacer, they just won't fit, and with the spacer, I'm not bitting thread with the lugs... Help!

you can run a spacer and it wont hurt anything you just need to change out the studs however with the offset of these wheels they may hit the fender its just something youll have to check when you mount them
