It sounds like your cars had deeper problems than seafoam.

I'll agree with redss here Ive used it a few time and while i wont say its crap because it does one helluva job cleaning the engine and its a great product for that, it will kill plugs. Ive used it on 3 cars and it has taken out the plugs on all of them causing a hunting idle and overall misfire. However i still use it i just do it the day before a spark plug change.

As a mechanic i use it on daily drivers, about 80% of the time it gets rid of sticking lifters when used in the crank case, however i would no use it on a performance engine due to the gunk it removes goes straight to the engine bearings, oil filters are crap especially the fram filters. The offer almost no filtering, has anyone taken on of these apart? they are junk, the oil bypasses the actual filter element most of the time. And as far as the sea foam on the injectors, i dont pour it in the booster line or tb, i use the injector cleaning kit which connects in the fuel rail, delivering the correct af ratio to not foul the plugs, never had foul any plugs in 10 years i been using it.
