When I was looking for a trans am it seemed that camaros were way cheaper. I swear I was finding SS camaros for the same price or cheaper than a regular trans am. You should be able to find a great deal with that amount of cash.
Good Luck and enjoy!

Remember those are asking prices. You can politely bargain with sellers in person with cash in hand. This would be an excellent time to purchase. Car sales are very slow during the holiday season. Good luck and don't be afraid to travel to find a good one!

So long as you're looking at autos, it shouldn't be hard to find a good LS1 for that price or less. If you're looking for a manual, it's going to take some digging/waiting, especially for a lower mileage car.

I'd let mine go for $7500... Probably farther than you'd want to travel though.

Hell, depending how patient he is, I've seen C5s for under $10K, but that was Miami where those are a dime a dozen.

You'll easily get a nice LS1 Camaro for $7K if you're patient. The fact that you're motivated with cash in hand puts you in a good position to pick up one of the cars where guys are asking $8K - $9K.
