I don't drive mine at all in snow, it's stuck in the damn garage. I hate living in Ohio!! I'm stuck with my p.o.s. Grand Cherokee for now. Can't wait 'till the roads clean up.

Lots of repect to the guys that have to. I bet it's an interesting drive.

I have in both f bodies and i hate it..its tough with 275 summer tires. Plus I'm pretty much paranoid to damage the car or have some idiot hit me. We got a good amount of snow this past week and luckily I was able to let the z sit it out.

I did with my Camaro. There were times where it wasn't fun (a 360 on the interstate isn't all that fun, really).

My next Camaro however won't see winter. After watching mine slowly dying from rust cancer I said screw it, that's not happening to the next one. That's what the truck I got this year is for (and it handles the weather better anyway).

Any car that's driven in snow = salt, and you don't wash it at least once a week, even if it's still snowing, is going to rust, especially the wheel wells. The only reason why my Cherokee is still in one piece is that I constantly wash it in the winter. In summer, I let the rain take care of the washing, LOL.

This. And also a reason why I'm ponying up 330 to have my car undercoated with an option to have it reinspected and coated again every year (30 bucks, undercoating is 300)

Right now though, I'm not all that worried. My deck lid is delaminating so it's getting sanded and filled anywho. Any rust that forms would be news to me because I've only spotted small oxidation sites on the floor from condensation and **** poor body work from St. Therese.

Rules for driving the T/A in the winter: No slush, no snow. Everything else is fair game.

Not entirely true. Only on places where it's not that cold. Salt only lowers the melting temperature of ice by a few degrees, so if it's way below freezing outside, salt doesn't help. Where I live it's way below 0 in the winter, so they don't bother with salt. Franky, I love it. Got some nice studded tires on the TA, and with the Eaton Truetrac this thing is a beast in the winter.

My SS was daily driven since the day she rolled off the showroom floor until the day my dad had a stroke and couldn't drive anymore last year, it's got 140,000 miles on it, driven through snow, ice, slush, whatever, if you keep it clean you really wont havetoo many problems. I drive my Z28 everyday in the snow, and other than wiping out my quarter with a trash can I have had no problems

No place has as much salt on the roads as us. Winter temps arn't that cold, 0-30 degrees and we get a butt-load of snow, this = SALT

Mine saw snow for the first time last week. The roads were fine and didn't have much salt on them. But my driveway was still covered with packed down snow that was more like ice. Took me 20 minutes to get it backed out with me pushing and my wife driving. Almost bald 275's plus a big stall equals tough to move in that. At one point she let off the gas and brakes and the rear tires were just spinning while sitting in drive at idle.
The only reason I had it out was to move it to my parents were it gets stored for the winter but I didn't get it put away in time before the snow started so it sat in my garage for most of December.

I was scared shitless having to drive the ome mile home a couple weeks ago, especially with a road where the snow had JUST melted. The worst part is at my house, there's a pedestrian intersection that stops traffic at what seems like a 12-15° incline. So water + 15° incline + M6 + 315/35/17 tires. I was so afraid I was just gonna spin, start sliding backwards and hit the car behind me.

Uh, if you believe that then Chicago would surprise you. It's a 2:1 ratio here (2" of salt dropped for every 1" of snow).

When you get around 150" of snow a year or more like we do, that would be a lot of salt.

I did the same thing with my old '99 Z28.

Can't avoid hills here so I did it for about a year or two and bought something 4x4.
