LS6 cam questions

LS6 cam questions New here, but been lurking for quite some time in preperation for a swap...I have a question regarding an LS6 cam install into my 5.3.
The 5.3 is otherwise stock at the moment (will obviously be getting a tune, etc) and I am putting in an LS6 cam (the 204 int./218 exh 0.550 GM pn 12565308). I have the LS6 pushrods as well.
The question is...is it a must to swap in the LS6 springs as well, or will the 5.3 springs be sufficient? Will the LS6 pushrods even be necessary?
This is going in a rock buggy, so street manners are not a concern.
