need help with cut harness

need help with cut harness I just bought a 6.0 with harness/ computer today for my swap into an 80 trans am but they cut the harness on accident right before the computer(language barrier I guess 
). I was just going to solder it right back together but there are like 8 pinks, 5 oranges, 4 grays etc. and I am curious are they all the same? Can I just wire a pink to a pink, gray to a gray etc or am I fucked? I think they are just going to get me another harness though.
