418ci head choice ??s

Default 418ci head choice ??s

so i have a 418 stroker with flat top pistons and i cant decide to go ported ls3 heads with ls3 intake or go stage 3 ls6 heads with 102 mm fast which do ya think is a better choice, i want make the most power i want 11.5 compression. thanks

I think you will make more with the LS3 heads no question.... Don't get locked in to SCR... look at some DCR calculators and shoot for 8.5-8.7 DCR and you will be good on pump gas.

thanks but i wonder y the ls3 heads make more power than some ls6 stage 3 heads

I think the big ci needs the port volume.

so these is what im thinking for a topend stage 3 prc ls6 heads and 102mm fast intake what ya think yes or no, im get a really good deal on some heads!

I mean if you are getting a good deal then go for it. But the fast my offset the deal. Just something to think about.

thanks but i think im bite the bullet and go for some prc 237s heads from texas-speed and see if i can make some good power!

For my 416, I went with WCCH Stg3 L92/Vic Jr. intake/4150 style TB and paid PatG to spec me a cam.

GL with what ever you do!

It will be sliding nuts deep into a 98 T/A Vert... Behind it will be a A4 to M6 swap and a MWC Fab9 rear with 4.11's

Yeah I am guessing that will be the case, but I'm not concerned. Plus I have the VFN Ram Air pin on hood with the 5" cowl.
