Default How are these heads and cam?

Well I just bought a new 2002 T/A with 12,800 miles on it, its going to be stored and only driven in nice days no rain or snow. Had forced induction on my other t/a and now I want to do a heads and cam package on this one. How is this package?

http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=205&catid=47

^ the cam will be the torquer v.2 with 112 lsa.

I am also getting Texas Speeds LT's with catted y-pipe emission hookup, and there true duals.

Also with a SLP lid.

What I want to know it what kind of numbers do you think it could possibly reach with both RWHP, and RWTQ.

Another thing is the rear gears are a 3.23 would I have to change those b.c of the cam?

Also, Do I need to get a stall? If I do I don't want one that effect drivability that much, is there such one that even does that? Can I possibly go with a 2800-3000 stall?

All help is appreciated.

Thanks

Ur gonna need a tune, p/p throttle body or get a bigger one you have the ls6 intakealreqdy. get at least a 3600 stall and 3:73 rear end. Prolly lookin at the 420-440 rwhp range. All based on what I've seen with similar setups on tech. I'm sure guys with the setup can help u more.

If it is going to be a DD then the true duals will be annoying after awhile. The have a drone at hiway speeds.

The heads and cam should be a nice package. 400 + rwhp for sure. The LS6 will work but I would save for a fast 102 and a 90mm T-body. They will make a nice upgrade later on down the road. The tranny will need to be built if you plan on drag racing or running it hard.

A good lock up convertor in the 3000 range. It will be better in the long run.

The tighter converter may help with the stock gearing. I had a 224 MTI cam with a 2800 stall and 3.42's years ago it made over 400 rwhp. Drove like stock. The gears can be added later, the 3.23 will just make the car lazy feeling. It will take some time for the rpms to come up and for the engine to ramp up . You'll have to down shift it for it to pull, and you may have to leave it in 3rd around town.
I would just save for a new rear (12 bolt s-60 etc.)
Good luck with the build.

Those are really nice heads but FWIW the 205's have been updated and improved and now have a 210cc port. tv2 will work pretty good with that cam but I would go 3600 on the stall if it were me....
