Default How long for springs to settle?

One of my friend's dad has a 71 vette that they have restored. We were talking about lowering it today and he said that he thinks after it is driven more it will sit a little bit lower. The car has been sitting with full weight for over a year now and has been driven about 40 miles. Do you think that if it is driven more some stuff will settle into place and it may drop a little more?

If the springs on it are any good then I wouldnt think it would drop anymore.

They shoulda settle right after install, If its sitting up like a bull dog, It might have springs for a big block.. If its a small block it's not enough weight to push down..

I really doubt it'll settle anymore; unless all the 40 miles were on buttery smooth roads.
IMO, 5-10 miles on less than perfect roads should be enough.
IMO, Google: 71 Corvette suspension, he'll have plenty of options to lower it and improve the handling.

pm sent.
