205 cc's arent the best, i hear dart heads on the ls1's arent worth it, one of my vettes had afr 205 mongoose heads and made 449 whp with em. and a mild mild cam.

Get the best heads you can afford because that is where the power is made. There are a couple of company's that port really good 243/799 OEM castings but as a general rule aftermarket casting are better. If you are seriously gonna turbo it the cam and head cc's would be totally different from a good N/A setup so I would decide how you wanna go first so you don't have to drop a lot of cash changing things up later.. Turbo heads and cam are pretty much dogs on a N/A motor...

Edit: you may be happy with a nice N/A steup as 430-450rwhp is pretty common on a H/C/I car. I made 434 through a stalled a4 and got 22mpg highway. In town sucks though because of the stall...

Yep and a cam with little to no overlap so you don't bleed off cylinder pressure. The budget guys often run 317 heads and a LS6 cam...
