Default whats compatible with ls1?
hey guys just wondering what other ls motors is compatible with the ls1... i know i can use parts off a ls6 but was wondering if i can use parts off any other ls...

Most all parts with just a few exceptions are interchangeable in the Gen III family.

^ A couple form LS2, but it depends. Water pump, heads timing chain, intake (Not worth it) and prolly the rockers.

That's pretty much it.

thanks for the info... dont have a big budget for new aftermarket stuff so i was just gunna look around for used that will improve my ls1
