Default do i need relocation brackets on the rear susp?

i was wondering why i would need these? i have them on my car but one has failed. it has umi trailing arms and relocation brackets. cant i just take the relocation brackets off and connect the t-arms to the axle? would this mess with the pinion angle? i got the car with them installed already.

You don't HAVE to have the relocation brackets, but you will likely experience more wheel hop/less traction on acceleration.

You can take them off and reconnect them to the axle but like SuperSport said you will have more wheel hop and less traction. as far as pinion angle do you have an adjustable torque arm or LCA's?
