Post help

need help with a backfire issue, anyone know how much it would cost to fix, i know it could be something with the ignition, its not that bad of a backfire..but im just curious what the outcome could be

Well, this isn't enough information to go on. The only thing that's for sure is that it should cost no more than the price of a new engine. Anything beyond that is pure speculation, with the limited information you have given.

never been tuned, just backfires half the time i let off the throttle, what kind of info do you need?

Like is it still stock and if not what aftermarket parts does it have. When was the last time it had a tune up (plugs, wires, fuel filter etc.)

Or have you done anything to the car that caused the backfire? I could think of a ton of reasons that a car would backfire.

not sure if its had a tune up yet, just got it, all its got is a K&n, other than that its bone stock, im planning on heads and cams once i fix this issue...and most likely a hundred shot
