I have an fuel pressure sensor im installing. Where would be the easiest and cleanest place to draw 5 volts from so i can get this hooked up? thanks in advance!

5v doesn't exist in the car. 5A can be drawn a million places. Most commonly, if needing a switched 12V+ source, the fuse box in the empty slot labeled IGN.

I must of been miss informed. I though some of the sensors where 5 volts? When i bought my gauge from Areoforce. They had an option to buy a regulator that took 12 volts down to 5v. And i asked them if i needed it and they told me no, I could pull 5 volts from a sensor. It was just cleaner they claimed.

I read up on their website....Im pretty sure the 02s and TPS are 5v. Hell all the engine sensors could be.

There are some PCM +5V outputs but these are used
for sensors and have some limit to the current they
can source.

At Radio Shack you can get a LM7805 regulator that
is bone simple to use and make your own 5V supply.
Good for an amp if you heat sink it well enough.

Thanks.. I actually was looking in to that. I found that online last night. I was just curious how much the sensor will draw. but guess that is a question for them.
