its funny i saw this. its coming up to a year since i got the car. Last summer i would leave them in except when taking the tops out. then when fall came i kept the shades out completely. about a week ago i put the shades back in and it feels like a different car, i kind of like it.

+1 for leaving them out. I park in a garage most of the time and my leather seats aren't flawless anyway. So I just enjoy the open feeling. Plus the girlfriend likes it.

I have never put my shades in, they are still in their original plastic bag in their holder.
You guys that use them, did you use the little velcro dots? or just use them loose?

I had my tops tinted int 5% limo film the second day I owned my TA. My car was absent the shades when I bought it. I picked up a set of sun shades and I leave mine in most of the time but when I take them out...I'm sure glad that I tinted mine. Of course the 5% tint all the way around the car doesn't hurt either
Oh...and I never even used the Velcro dots

I'll take mine out in winter if it gets cold and is going to stay cold for awhile, because the sunlight really helps warm the interior. Same principle works in reverse, though. Sunny days above 50* they're in, otherwise I'm broiling. I can't imagine driving around in summer without them ... our cars have good A/C, but it can't keep up.
