No MAF?

Default No MAF?

My Mass Air flow sensor is bad and i cant replace it right now is it okay to drive the car with it unplugged for a little while?

Did you try to clean it with mass air cleaner.

Cleaning it is a good idea, could help. How long is a little while? If you absolutely have to you can do it I am sure as the ECU will just use the VE table for fueling instead of the combination of the two but I would not do it for very long, pick up a used MAF on here for like $50, that's what I did a couple years ago.

isnt the transmission somehow connected to the maf readings? i thought ive read that somewhere. honestly i wouldnt drive very far without one either

Yea, I wouldn't drive around with it unplugged, have you tried cleaning it? And if you do drive around with it unplugged or bad I would def. drive it conservatively and stay off it

Auto part stores sell MAF cleaner and if your MAF is bad I wouldn't drive it far or at all until it is replaced
