My Trans Am is fairly stock other then headers , custom tune. I want to bulid some serious power for a street car. I drive this car everyday. It has cold a/c, good heat. I want the car to still be dependable daily driver, I just don't know where to start first. I bought a ls6 intake, but now I think I should have bought a Fast intake. But I'm looking to buy the PRC 2.5 5.3 heads from TSP. Are these good heads to build off of for future power. Any advice would be great.

Check out this thread if you are wanting to make 500rwhp without a power adder. It is very hard to do and very expensive.

I would suggest some TFS or AFR heads with a big cam, FAST intake and a very good tune. The tune will be the key to keeping good drivability.
