Intake temperature?

Intake temperature? Random question: I want to paint my intake with a nice silver paint I have. The can says the paint is okay to 250F. How hot does the intake manifold get?
Should I just get some high-heat paint?

I used high heat paint, but I don't think that the intake manifold would get over 250F....I think the incoming air would do enough to cool the manifold or at least the majority of it below that temp.
The only parts that might be suspect would be near the heads...basically, anything that isn't next to the incoming air paths. Being it's plastic it might be ok tho. I guess I don't know for sure, lol.

I measured my aluminum intake with a heat gun and running temp
was not too high - 130F maybe, I forget, posted the info here on
one of the subforums once.
Parked, it'll rise up to your ECT temp.
If you don't run your fans at lower than stock temps though, it
might cook a lot more.
