I won a gift certificate for $250 at SLP.
Now....... What do I get? I pretty much have everything, that's what makes this a hard choice. Not much for 4th gens on there anymore.
I was pretty settled on the PowerFlow mufflers, but figured I'd ask and see what else would be a good idea.
it was either the mufflers or Fan switch and line lock. I really wanted their neutral floor mats, but they discontinued them. They don't have their light weight carpet anymore either nor do they carry spoilers anymore (SS.)
And this is for my 2000 M6 Z28 in sig.

Fan switch and line lock. Obviously you have no need for the 85mm MAF...
What about the SLP bowtie grill? That'd be pretty sweet, especially given the color car you have.
Either those or the powerflow, as stated. I've never heard a complain about it. You already have the LM1 or 2?

I've got a TSP Rumbler catback now. -Basically a LM2, kinda; just as loud. It's not unbearable, but the sound/tone is just getting old for me. I typically switch exhausts every couple years. And it's a bit loud if I ever come home late, I don't need it braaaping and waking the neighbors up. Apparently the lady across the street next house up says she can hear my car inside their house and she knows whenever I do something with it.

I could use a billet belt tensioner............But SLP doesn't carry much anymore. They seem to be gearing toward the 5th gens now.

Yeah, I already have the bowtie grille. Needs some paint touch up though.

That's a rant for another thread though.
I like the idea of the fan controller and line-lock though. Seems to be "best bang for the buck"
Inquiring minds are dying to know however, how did you get a 250 gift cert for them?

^ I won an exhaust contest on the Camaroz28.com podcast. They wanted to see who can portray their exhaust the best, through the phone and replayed on the air. They chose mine.
And yeah, I want their floor mats, but I have a tan interior and they don't make the "neutral" floor mats anymore.

Honestly dont waste the money on the manual fan switch..I know you won the cash, but I have minimal car wiring knowledge and I busted mine out in 30 minutes or less and costed next to nothing..![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Go with the line loc, it would be a sweet thing to have, and sure as hell make things easier.

^ I'm still stumped. Not really feeling the fan switch idea either.
And I'm not gonna sell the certs. 1: they have my name on them and 2: if Chris or Jason found out, they may get pissed. It's a small podcast community and there were others with 5th gens who really wanted that $250, so I'd be screwing them in a way. I'll chime back in later. Gotta go to work now.

^ Already have a UDP..
Like I said, I pretty much already have everything.
I ordered the Mufflers. Gonna re-do my exhaust. Been toying with the idea of stripping my Y again and adding a flowmaster merge and 4" center section. But I just have to find a 4" I-pipe..
