My DD is a 2000 Z28 A4, 187k on the clock. I haven't had any real trouble but the previous owner replaced fuel pump, ps pump, and alternator @ 183k. I'll drive it all year as long as there's no snow laying on the ground. F-bodies don't do snow, learned that lesson long ago.

168k on mine, and it's a complete shitbox. Everything that goes wrong with f-bodies is wrong with mine. I drive it every day, eagerly anticipating snow, at which point I rip the roof off.
Scratch that, I've never had the roof on to begin with.
I beat the living tar out of it, and while the rest of the car is typical GM "what quality control??", the engine never has once failed to start or blow the car sideways on command.
I just can't really find a good reason to part with this car, it's the best shitbox I've ever owned and ungodly amounts of fun. Although, it's about time for a trans input bearing. You could grind coffee on the shifter of my car, it's so bad......

Well last time I took a Camaro out in the snow there was about a 1/4 in of it already laying on the road. I got about 200 yards down my street and the car did a 180 on me. Luckily everyone had there cars off the street, so I didn't hit anything. But I figured that was my sign to stay at home. It tried to slide out from under me again on the way back to my driveway. I had all season Goodyear eagles on the car at the time.

My 99 Trans Am is my daily driver. I bought it in 2003 with ~70K miles and now I have over 230K miles. All I do is change the oil with regular motor oil every 3000miles. Motor has never been apart. The intake manifold has never even been off lol.
I have only had to change one water pump, one alternator, one clutch, and the brake pads ONCE (lol), and recently had to change fuel pump. Besides the failed fuel pump the car has never left me stranded or failed to start in over 10,000 crank-ups. Not too bad.![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
This thing is one hell of a car!

I do, bought @ 125k, had a bent rim, replaced it, have been tracking down my steering wheel shake for a while, concluded it has to be my brakes and other than that my a/c compressor squeeks every now and then, got new rear 02s and my friend replaced my pinion seal. That's about it, for a car that has 142k miles and drives great I can't complain, this car and ls1tech have tought me a lot and I enjoy working on this car. Gotta start doing "go fast" mods soon
