Well, I have heard of rear ends being destroyed from burnouts. Also, you might want to invest in a line-lock.

I don't see a point in a line lock if no sticky tires. If you have sticky tires, deff. get a line lock especially if you do a lot of drag racing.Your first weakness is the rear end.Even more so with sticky tires.my .02

If you have a manual with drag radials, you will destroy your stock 10" rear.

Not sure what you mean by that, it's a great thing to have if you do a lot of burnouts regardless of what type of tire you have.

Not the best idea to do burnouts on street tires before a drag race is what I was saying.

Not if you ride the clutch and actually drive the car.

Its an auto car and im investing in line lock real soon! and i dont let one wheel burnouts happen.. i just wanna make sure my car can handle burnouts on bald street tires with out any problems. i dont do it all the time but i did put used tires on the rear to go have some fun with it for a bit..

You will probably break the trans before you hurt the rear in an auto car. That is, assuming you don't have any wheel hop. Wheel hop is bad.

4L60E (STOCK)+ Burnouts= One pissed off guy when he has to rebuild the trans because of abuse

Main reason i got the 6speed. id rather replace a diff than deal with a busted automatic trans, and i work at a transmission shop could probably build one for less than $600... I just don't like auto's lol, great for drag racing though, just not something i do enough to worry about being super consistent
