Stop wasting time and money on bull ****. You live in alabama, call ptc up and have them make you a 4000 converter and get a trans cooler.500$ shipped and with your mods will cut bottom 1.6s/high 1.5@ in huntsville...7.8s@88 or so.
Had a buddy with less mods than you run that a few months ago.. His mods were full exhaust lid and off converter.100% full weight 98 trans am + **** in the back.. Da was around 2400.
Like jon said, you will feel dumb for not doing it sooner.

OP just go ahead and spray it or stall it. You will not be disappointed. An A4 with stock stall is pretty hard to get into the 7's. If all you want is to hit 7's the easiest way is with the mods you already have is STALL IT.

I was running 7.8 in the 1/8 when my mod list looked like this:
lid, ported tb, pacesetter lt headers, dynomouth exhaust, ssra and TCI 3500 torque converter.
My gears were the stock 3.23's, my suspension was 100% stock and tires were mickey thompson street radials (cutting 1.6-1.7 60's).
