Default Considering a 00 TA

I'm considering buying a friends 00 TA but I have a concern. I like in kentucky and this car will be my DD. We have ice storms here and I'm concerned about protecting the headlights. Any suggestions? I have a garage but I can only get one car in there and that's where my wife's car is. Should I use a car cover and tarp when I know a storm is coming?

People DD them up north where this is a regular thing... If that's your only concern, jump on it. You'll be fine.

I drove my 2000 procharged trans am in Chicago winters, so its fine, you just have to take it easy. And I drove it with nittos as well.

Yeah I'm not worried about driving it in the winter crap. More concerned with the popup headlights and ice covering them. I've had three trucks and a mustang so I'm used to driving in the snow and such with right wheel drive.

7k. It's in really good shape and runs strong. I know the previous two owners of the car too.

Camaro_94 is right. That is market value and NOT a good or great deal. Not with that mileage. It helps that you are familiar with the car and the prior owners. No surprises that cost $$. Good luck and don't worry about the headlights icing, just the ice on the roads. These cars are a bear on slick pavement.
