Kid at my nephews school asks,
"Is it twin turbo?"
"Nope."
Kid: "Can it beat a Civic?"
"Are you ******* retarded?"
The best one was someone asking if my car was a "WS"
I said, its a WS...6. He asks what motor and I say, LS1. He says Thats a V6? I say no, its a V8. He says, then why is it a WS....6.
(I guess it should be a WS.8???)

GM dealership here in Canada i did'nt here hear the questions but buddy did while i was getting vin #. Its a 1998 Camaro Z28Female Service Advisor:"What kinda car is that ?"
Male Service Advisor:"A Camaro but what year is it ? a 2000 ?"

Does it have a chip? Yea, thanks for asking that... Forget about the heads cam intake exhaust etc etc etc
Does it have a cam? No you dumb ****, the ms4 with 1 chambers dumped is stock.
Is it fast? No, I have slicks and 325 drag radials in hope to claim insurance when It rains.
Could you beat a Corvette? Of course not.. I only make 150 more rwhp and weigh 200# less.
What kind of gas mileage does it get? Then I get argued with if their 2500 gets 13mpg no way my gas hog gets 18+.
Is it a manual? Then they move on or make a comment etc like its the slowest pos around because of that when before that they were drooling over it.
Have anything done to it? Really dude?
Boss wife asked what was wrong with it why It sounded like that when I showed her a video.. I told her I had a cam and it was supposed to sound like that. She said she thought my block was cracked.
I could go on and on and on and on.. Any gas station, food place, was mart, etc etc etc I get asked questions.

i always get asked if mines for sale, i always say show me cash and anything is for sale lol, yeah i got asked the other day how fast i have got it up to, i was like wtf did you just ask me, he was like what is the fastest you ever got it up to 200 or something, i said yes 200 something lol

People actually come up and ask me if it's "stock"
One guy in a newerish model civic like an 05 maybe? with hydraulics and walmart rims had a possie around him talking about his car and my roomate went over to talk to him they didn't know the WS6 was mine and he asked if the civic was fast and they said "yeah this thing gets down" and my roomate asked if it could beat that Trans am over there (not knowing we had any relation to it) and they replied man I hope so, that thing sounds like its fixin to blow up. I had to walk away

that immediately said "texas" to me before i saw your location. everytime i go to texas for work, i always hear cammed/bolton LSx rides to the point where i stopped looking out the window to see what it was.

I get asked dumb questions all the time. Most of them have already been talked about on this thread already so I won't mention them again. I am in the South so keep that in mind. The #1 question I get asked 100% of the time when someone asks about my car is...(insert redneck accent) "That thang got a tree fiddy daunt it" I reply "no a 346" they just look puzzled and shut up LOL.

The guys went behind my back and decided my ws6 was an automatic, ive given most of them a ride at some point and i let off the brake at stoplights.
-going to get parts from any parts store, sir i think you need a tune up. Me, why? Because you have a mis fire. Palms face, nah itll be ok for now

i was at the gas station one day and a random guy walks up to me and says "thats a nice car its a camaro right?" i said yea its a special edition that has the words pontiac and trans am on it.

Tired of people asking if its a corvette motor. I say yea but it was stock in the f bods and they follow with some comment that shows they don't believe me.
I also get tired of hearing people tell me to put a bog block in it. Yea I want to waste time and money when I can get the same power and better gas mileage from an ls.
Also the older guys asking if it was fast. Then they go on about some car they had back in the day and they don't understand most cars are faster these days especially in the twisties.
