Not sure if this was hit yet, but the stupid passenger footwell hump for the cat

Also hate the antenna. They could have easily given the car one of those rear defroster antennas

I had a shimmy above 60 in the steering wheel that I was chasing for a few months and it just happened to go away when i changed my de carbons to bilsteins as wierd as that sounds. Just throwing it out there

^i had a thread where that happened to me it was just a front end-alignment i need. Also got some umi poly/roto joint lca that are on car adjustable. So then they could align the thrust angle too, just some thing to think about getting done.

I know exactly what you mean about the hatch! I will pop it once, but it's still locked. So I have to do it again. Can get very annoying.

your shocks are weak. I had the same problem. Put new shocks on, problem went away. The hatch has to lift up slightly and can't if the shocks aren't working right.

Just put brand new shocks on last weekend, bilsteins. Haven't really tested to see if that problem is still there. I will get back to you if it is though.

bilsteins? I mean the hatch shocks. I just got some cheapy ones at autozone and it fixed mine. I thought I needed a new latch at first.

Oh, wups. I thought you meant the other shocks for some reason...

How much do those shocks cost?

I wanna say they were $20 or some each. mine were TOTALLY wasted. The hatch wouldn't stay up at all. I had to have someone stand at the back of the car and lift up as I hit the switch. (my car came with no keyless, I had to buy one cos the driver door won't fit my key.. I drove it for a month without locking it. ) After that when I pop it the hatch open about 2" on it's own, when the weathers just right it will open all the way on it's own power.

I see a lot of complaints in this thread that are not really the car's fault. Several of these are due to aging/failing components, things that were not issues when these cars were new and wouldn't be now if they were in better working order.

There are some design issues that have been brought up, if those things bother you then it's a valid subjective complaint. But other than design issues, some of the other stuff can be fixed by replacing some worn out parts. Any car that gets driven regularly will eventually wear out and show some faults as it gets old.

Never liked the location of the PCM, all the water runs right on top of it when you wash the car, to make a long story short i now cover it up when i wash the car.

What's the difference?

I've washed my car hundreds of times, does that affect the PCM somehow?
