true, still love the car though, can't bring myself to sell it especially since most of the bullshit was fixed with HIDs, new revised headlight motors, LEDs, new trans, clutch, window motors, wrapped door panels etc lol

04 CTS-V.
I guess I'll start with:
Motor mounts
Shift linkage slop
Driveshaft
Driveshaft coupler
Differential bushings (all of them)
Cheap OE sunroof parts
Brittle Window regulators
Flickering HIDS
The NAV/Bose system... all of it down to the peeling buttons
The wiper cowl that flaps against the windshield on the hwy
And how could I forget the weak aluminum case differential itself.

Perhaps it's the 120k shocks or the fact that they're stock DeCarbons, but my car rides something akin to a log wagon. I also don't like the metal bar inside of the lower back portion of the factory power seats. The little plastic screws that hold the rear interior panels (like over the spare) should have been left in the Fischer Price bin. The window motors... Damn those window motors.
What I do like is that despite the typical nitpicking things that go wrong with F-bodies, they're super cheap to modify and, in my opinion, incredibly easy to wrench on. Yeah the engine compartment is tight, but working on the suspension, brakes, interior and just about everything but the back of the engine is a dream.

276,000 miles on my car with OE motor, trans, 10 bolt rearend not gona get me to say much bad about it and it still ran a 12.4 at the track this summer. But if there was anything I dislike about the car it would be the 1-2 shifts at slow speeds

I haven't had my car for too long and the good definitely outweighs the bad.
That being said I have had issues with the window motors and the suspension being very squeaky, and that annoying 1-2 shift.
BY FAR the most annoying things about these cars is how anything will try and race you, heres a few:
Ricer'd out ford probe
Neon with a fart can on the back
Suburban
And most of all ANY truck who thinks they're fast

What are you guys talking about in regards to an "annoying 1-2 shift"? I've had 4 of these cars with the auto, never have I found any sort of annoying behavior in regards to the 1-2 shift (other than occasional short-shifting at WOT due to wheel spin, but sticky tires will fix that).

In my car, 1-2 is like falling off a cliff and/or hitting a wall. Under a load (like wot) my car will actually go silent for nearly a full second between 1 and 2 as if it's not running before it resumes. It's a lunge of a shift and is very uncomfortable.
In bumper to bumper it can be a pain because it's very hard to push the car forward in first gear. There's a very "tense" feeling in the powertrain like the transmission is resisting the engine, then the 1-2 shift if you're just barely on the gas is a slam into 2nd.
I could be wrong about what they're talking about.. but this is what I observe in mine with an A4.

When I'm driving around 20MPH, give or take a little and have to maintain that speed I can feel the engine wanting to shift. And when it does shift, it's a hard shift, you can hear a big clunk...then in a few seconds the car downshifts back to 1st and repeats the process.
