I forgot you already had long tubes. I forgot to say for you to get a tune also. As far as getting some sort of intake or throttle body combo don't do it unless you plan on going heads/cam, especially if its a stroker. That's the route I'm going. But it sounds like that's not what you're doing. The intake setup you have stock, the LS6 intake, works great. You won't see much gains with a LSX intake on stock heads, I didn't, and wasn't expecting to but wanted to get it for on down line and make the most use out of it now

man i swear there are a 1000 different ways too go about it.....i think i have decided that i will keep it off the track however if it could be a 680 8th mile street car i will be happy...im not worried about mpg....i want too be able too drive it anywhere and i want too spray it.....so im think cam,and converter for sure...the rest yall will have too help with....im sure i can call comp and they could tell me a cam unless yall recomend another brand...what yall think?...i already have some 315 drag radials i just need the power...then get it too work in the road.....i got a few mustangs i need too dust off

Well alot of people like the ms3 but that is a high rpm cam, and you will need a good set of heads to really get everything out of it. I personally am gunna get a tsp 228r cam it can be ran with stock heads and make good power thru the power band with a good tune. I have been told it needs a good flowing exhaust to make it run right. But it all boils down to how extreme your wallet and foot is lol. There is a guy with a 224 cam pretty much stock exhaust and a tune putting down 365. O and be sure to get a converter thats made for spray. My stepdad almost blew up my sisters 81 Camaro because of that. But hell a good wet shot 228 cam and good flowing exhaust and a converter you will be set. Where you located? Probably not Oklahoma but if so i would be down to help out if needed

O and I am fond of Texas speed my friend had a lot of there stuff on his old one and it ran low 10's on hardly any spray and he drove it to and from school ha ha

^ yeah ,also look up carter01 his car is pretty shocking as well,op eps custom grind will be your best bet, they make great stuff, but so do many others, you really cant go wrong with any sponser,tsp also has some really nice heads for a great price.
