Full coverage insurance for a total loss title?

I had the same thing happen in 2004 with a camaro and I had state farm too. The car was still drivable so the dropped my coverage to liability until I made the repairs and then they put it back on full coverage after I got it fixed and it doesn't have a salvage title.

Did they pay you out for the value of the car and say it would receive a salvage title? What state are you in?

Yes, they paid me out. It was the identical situation you have. The title didn't change hands so the subject never came up about the title being salvage. I'm in Mississippi. Just don't mention anything about the title and don't give it to them unless its a must.

There are several providers who’ll do this- I think The Hartford is one of them- so that’s not what you need to worry about. It’s getting a reasonable car insurance quote that will be difficult, and the value they’ll give you if it gets totaled again.
