My latest project in my 02 Convertible is going to be the LSX 479 does anyone know which longtube headers work well with this since they say the block is a little taller then the average ls motor?? I currently have the kooks true dual exhaust on the car but was wondering if there will be any issues with headers and if so which headers I will need to swap to thanks for your input.....

From what I understand there is a half inch difference the tall deck is like .44 inches taller then regular LS motors. I need any experience information anyone has had from what type of cam they used in their LSX build to any problems with putting a LSX 454 or bigger in a 98-02 fbody thanks. Advice is always helpful.

What about this a LSX 479 from Scoggin Dickey or a ERL 500 can we elaborate on the two pluses and minuses and which you would prefer of course in a short block. Any insight and any comments or thoughts are welcome...
